It began when I graduated with a Bachelors degree in Product Design from the University of Central England Institute of Art and Design. I worked as a watch and jewelry designer for a couple years, but there was still something missing. Ultimately, my passion for pastry, beautiful things, and a love for color and sugar drew me to London, where I studied at Le Cordon Bleu and obtained a pastry degree. After graduating, I worked at a few different cake shops while in London and Hong Kong. I started Sparks and Cakes in January 2014.
